*Early Childhood/parent-child relationships
My approach is deeply influenced by “relationship based” practices. While trained in several evidenced based therapy models, I have discovered that “research and evidenced based practices“ combined with a "whole person approach" works best.
I believe that a multidisciplinary approach is often best to support healing. This means I am happy to coordinate with other providers. I also support integration with other healing practices you have found helpful.
You are welcome to bring your relationship to faith/religion/spirituality into our work together. However, this is as much a part of our work together as it has meaning to YOU.
Together, we can determine how best to meet your needs.

Grief, loss and trauma can be experienced differently by many people. Two people with almost the exact event may perceive them completely differently. Grief can take on many different forms: the anticipation of loss, the unexpected loss vs. the one you could prepare for, death of a beloved pet, miscarriage, traumas you remember and those you don't or have tried to forget. "Loss" can relate to anything or anyone.
Depending on the type of trauma or loss and where you or your child are in the journey the support you receive can look different. Thus, I have moved grief, loss and trauma to its own category.
For some, counseling may be more appropriate. You've been living with your grief and loss for many months, maybe years, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. You've noticed that its impacting the way you live your life on a regular basis. Maybe you're experiencing your sleep, intrusive thoughts, isolation become worse not "better with time" as some have told you.
For others, you may simply need guidance to sort out a specific hurdle. You're able to live your life as you typically might. Yet, you continue to have questions. Maybe there are a couple areas of your grief journey you're avoiding. Your able to speak about your loss/trauma but would like another's perspective
If unsure, I'm happy to help.
